Dr. Matsumoto and his team gave me a bright and beautiful new smile with the Zoom teeth whitening technology. The staff was very thorough and explained every step of the procedure to me. The procedure takes about 1.5 hours but well worth the time. I haven't had any sensitivity issues since having the procedure. If you are considering teeth whitening, I would highly recommend Dr. Matsumoto and the Zoom technology.

We love Dr. Mike. My wife and her family have been going to him for years. The staff is always wonderful. My kids even don't mind going to the Dentist there. We do have to promise them to go the Maggie Daily Park after but its so close that its great. Also the views are amazing.

Rock solid dentist/person. Genuine person and dental master. Staff genuinely cares as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a higher standard of care.

My cousin was visiting from Japan and had a dental emergency. Dr. Matsumoto and his staff were amazing in the speed and quality of care and helpfulness we received when we were referred to his office. We were so surprised to learn he and one of his hygienists spoke Japanese making the experience that much easier for all of us with the language barrier. My cousin said if Dr. Matsumoto was in Japan, she would switch dentists and bring her family to his office!

A GREAT experience! I was very nervous about getting all 6 of my front teeth replaced and crowned and I could not be happier with the results- 1. I have been to a few dentists and expected there to be pain on some level, but there was really no pain. He took the time to numb before numbing and he knew how long the procure would be so as to not numb me the whole day, zero pain. 2. detail orientated to the max. Dr. Mike took the time for me to talk to the lab that created the crowns, which is in the same building. It was very nice to be able to meet those that would be making my new teeth. Little did I know that there is art to this. He also took the time to compare the before and after and go over all the details so I was completely comfortable and happy before moving forward. 3. There was genuine excitement and passion in his work and it was contagious- I cannot believe how awesome the results are and I am super impressed with the follow up-
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mike for any and all dental work, what a great experience.....and his office has a great view too!

I am a registered Nurse and have been seeing Dr. Matsumoto for 17+ years. Perhaps due to genetics, my sweet tooth as a child, and having never had braces, I have unfortunately run the gamut of dental procedures. He is conservative and will only recommend what needs to be done. He explains clearly and exactly what your plan of care will be. I trust him whole heartedly and that trust can only be developed over years of excellent care. Dr. Mike Matsumoto has an excellent bedside manner. He is excellent at giving local anesthetic and takes the time to make sure you don't feel a thing. He is always accommodating and finds a spot on his schedule. Even during the city lockdown, at the start of the covid 2020 pandemic, he met me at his clinic so I could get work done! His staff (Maribel) is second to none, they make sure that all my claims are processed in a timely manner. They don't over schedule, so you never have wait times in clinic. I never feel rushed during appointments and feel that my allotted time, is truly my time. Dr Matsumoto is accountable for his work and caring to his patients. He loves his profession and it shows.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mike Matsumoto for more than 20 years and have nothing but praise for the man and his practice. As a dentist, he's solid. The work gets done with minimal discomfort, it looks great and his fees are reasonable. He has never suggested services I didn't need.
As a person, Dr. Mike is equally wonderful. Thoughtful, caring and always wanting to please. When I had to page him with an emergency over the holidays he got back to me within 5 minutes. Didn't expect that.

I've been going to Dr. Matsumoto for over 15 years for all my dental work, cleanings and emergencies. I find the staff friendly and professional and the care to be excellent while using the latest dental technology. Easy parking at Grant Park underground garage. I highly recommend.

If looking for a dentist stop looking he is the best . I can't recommend Dr. Matsumoto enough. I started with him while he worked also at the University of Chicago many years ago. He is informative, conservative and on time . Although I travel to his office a bit of a distance I can say in the past in switching to a dentist locally to see if I can get closer it is worth it . I was told I had multiple cavities at that dentist . I returned to Dr Matsumoto as I was confused as he had treated me prior and he said there was no cavities . This also happened with another family member . Lastly his office is on the 20th floor overlooking the city with a phenomenal view as you are being treated.

Doctor Matsumoto has been my family's dentist for over 15 years.. and we could not be happier. We drive from the western suburbs to see him because we trust him so much and his level of care is outstanding .. he is truly family to us . He suggested I have my teeth whitened with his new treatment called ZOOM.
Wow! What amazing results I cannot believe how much whiter my teeth look .. the whitening only takes about an
1-1 1/2 hours and your teeth are super white . His team is very friendly and professional.. and I would not go to anyone else other than him ..

15 years as a patient of Dr. Matsumoto, and he is the best dentist I have ever had. Teeth are healthy, and the non-cleaning procedures I have had (one cavity and one chipped tooth) were painless and quick.

The dental technicians and office staff are excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Matsumoto and staff are the best! I have been a patient for about 5 years. As the daughter of a dentist, I am very particular about my dental care and could not be happier. I haven't required dental work beyond cleanings and check ups, but I have family members who have been extremely happy with more extensive dental procedures done by Dr. Matsumoto. I recently got Zoom done in the office. I was going for movie star white teeth and they totally delivered!! Dr. Matsumoto is incredibly trustworthy and everyone in the office is very respectful and kind. 100% recommend!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Matsumoto for years. I found him on a recommendation from a friend when I had become disheartened with my previous dentist for doing some unnecessary work. Dr M is kind, has an awesome staff and is knowledgeable and skilled. I trust him implicitly. I am a physician and I refer my patients to him. He saved me
thousands of dollars and a lot of heartache when I asked him for a second opinion on an issue for my daughter. I hope he never retires!!!! Ha ha.

Best dentist I ever had and I've had quite a few. Like one of the previous reviewers, I had moved away from Chicago but continued to see Dr. Matsumoto for many years, flying back to Chicago, because yes, he's that good. Professional, personable, straightforward--he's really excellent at his job.

Dr. Mike was my dentist for over 10 years and I had to move to Florida but continued to go back for a few more years as he's the best in the biz! Honest and the smartest guy in the room every time. If I move back to the midwest, Dr. Mike is my guy!

Dr. Mike is the best dentist I've ever had. A friend referred him to me years ago and I've been referring him to others ever since. Nowadays it seems like everyone I know goes there.
Its not all about Dr. Mike though, everyone that works there is great and they all seem to really care about helping people.

Dr. Mike has been my dentist for 12 years and he is an amazing dentist. He goes way above and beyond what most medical professionals will do. I paged him on a Saturday night and got a call within 5 minutes. When he's out of town, he leaves his cell phone number on the office voicemail so he can be reached anytime.

He stands by his work, for sure. I cracked a(n old) crown and he fixed it for free. What dentist does that? He'll also do your cleanings if you prefer him over using a dental hygienist.

Also important: Dr. Mike is always, I mean ALWAYS, on time.

I'm really picky about my healthcare providers and I don't have a single complaint about Dr. Mike. I love his office staff, too.
